All The Good Names Were Taken

Hi. Thanks to everyone who is reading this for the first time. I'm a business writer and have been since December 23, 1997, when a well-established business magazine called me and gave me my first assignment. I'm not going to say the name for the moment. The editors don't even know about this blog, and I don't want this to come off as a blog endorsed by the magazine. It's just something I decided to start. But if you're curious, you can see who I write for by looking at my web site, which is mentioned in my bio. Anyway, I'm entrenched in the business scene, and it occurred to me that a blog might be a fun way to write about the lighter issues in business... and so here I am. As far as I'm concerned, this is just an experiment that may end in a few days, or few weeks, or maybe it'll just go on indefinitely, which is what I hope. But we'll see. I have no idea what to expect, but maybe that'll make the blog more interesting (or chaotic). We'll see, but thanks, at any rate, for reading, and feel free to leave your thoughts on anything.
